If you don't think you can do something, how the crap do you expect other people to believe you can?
Like, take acting for example.
If you're playing Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, and you don't think you can do the part, that you're not believable you won't be believable. Period.
Honestly, if you don't believe in yourself, you're not getting anywhere in this world. Granted, you might not get anywhere anyway, but you get the gist of it.

Very, very true. This took me a long time to learn for myself. I always had this fear of proclaiming that I was great and not living up to it. I thought it was better to aim low, and possibly end up surprising people.
