Family

You either love 'em or you can't stand them.

Personally, I think family is one of the most important things in the world. Why do I think this?
Well, first off, you share a common history with them (to go ahead and set things straight, I'm talking about extended family as well.) You all come from the same place, each new member adding a little more flair to the history.

You need people who you can count on, who will be behind you no matter what. My cousin is my best friend, for instance. I know she would support anything I do (well, except maybe murder, but I don't even think family could support that xD) as I would for her.

But here's a nice question: When do you draw the line? When is your family too much? If they go to jail, do you still support them? If they convert to a different religion, do you still support them? If they turn out to be gay, do you still support them?

Some people would say no.

Let me know what your take on all of this is, leave a comment and tell me.

P.P.S. Also leave a comment with ideas for me to talk about, I want to know what you want to hear.

I always support family, even if I don't agree. I never judge because I don't like something about someone.

My family is indeed important to me, and supporting them is indeed important. My sister is my best friend and I would support her through (most) everything. But I probably wouldn't support something if I felt it was morally wrong. Like if someone in my family decided to steal something or kill someone, I'd probably turn them in. But if they changed their lifestyle, that's their issue, not mine. I would never turn my back on my family unless they did something totally morally wrong. It's also totally ok to disagree with your family on issues and things like that.

Lief, does that include murder or theft as well? If they asked you to help them toss the body in the river at 4:27 am would you jump in the car with waterproof boots on?

Blossom, would you ever try to talk them out of something? Like, joining a roving band of bohemian artists?

    Nobody:
If I thought it was dangerous or could get them involved in something I thought was wrong.

Ah, you have a point...I forgot to add the word choices in there, the first comment got erased and I hastily tried to piece it back together. I would support my family if they just decide to switch religions or if they were gay. But if they are hurting people I would try to help them so that they would stop.

i would support my family in anything and everything they do.

to answer your questions, NBDY, i would jump in the front seat of a 4wheeler and shoot out videocameras in the vacinity.

and trust me, being a murderer is a lot worse than being gay, that isnt an issue
its just a unique characteristic that makes a person even more beautiful- knowing who they are.

and as far as religion goes, i have nothing against other religions, perhaps besides McCarthyism.
    neonatzis are not my thing.

but i hope this cleared some things up for you and that all of us have a strenth to have family like you have.
